Principal Analyst - Metals and Mining Research, S&P Global Energy

Katherine is a Principal Research Analyst within the Mine Economics & Emissions team, a part of the wider S&P Global Energy group. She has been with the company for almost 7 years, and covers a range of commodities including base, precious, bulks and uranium.

She began her career in the industry in Australia, having exposure to both exploration, open pit and underground mining geology. Here, she specialized in narrow vein high-grade gold deposits and also has exposure to copper-gold porphyry systems from her time in Azerbaijan.

Katherine holds a Masters in Applied and Environmental Geology from the University of Leicester.
