Robin leads the Natural History Museum’s services to the Mineral Exploration and Mining industry and has authored over 90 confidential consultancy reports. He is a mineral deposits geologist focussed on studying the nature of economically significant mineralization and its distribution through geological time and space. Robin’s diverse skills base includes mineralogy, geochemistry, field mapping and sampling, and their integration into geological models of mineralized systems. He has a specific interest in intrusion related styles of mineralization including porphyry copper deposits and Li-rich systems. As the He was part of the NHM team contributing to the EU Horizon 2020 funded FAME (Flexible And Mobile Economic processing technologies), the INNOVATE UK Faraday battery challenge project Li4UK and currently is part of the NERC LiFT project examining volcano-sedimentary Li deposits.
